FFUND congratulates Spatium Medical B.V. for being awarded a €2.28M Innovation Credit to help bring smart insufflation technology to operating rooms in Europe and the US.
About Spatium Medical
Spatium Medical is a pioneering MedTech spinoff from Erasmus MC, focusing on the development of smart, personalized insufflation technology for laparoscopic surgeries. This groundbreaking technology offers surgeons the ability to adjust the insufflation pressure according to the needs of each individual patient, reducing complications, improving safety, and speeding up patient recovery. The technology also adapts to mechanical ventilation, ensuring stability during the procedure while ‘breathing with the patient’.
