
Take your HealthTech innovation further
The Municipality of The Hague and The Zorginnovatiehub Den Haag are launching the HealthTech Innovation Broker Scheme to support promising HealthTech startups and scale-ups. Through the scheme, selected companies will receive a fully funded expert voucher for targeted advice on a key development challenge.
FFUND will coordinate and deliver the programme together with its specialist partners AOMB and 3D-PharmXchange.
What support is available?
Every selected company will begin with a project intake, Company Readiness Assessment and Funding Quick Scan.
Available services include:
- market analysis, financial forecasting and company valuation;
- business-plan and pitch-deck development;
- external validation through KOL or stakeholder interviews;
- data room preparation;
- IP and patent advice;
- regulatory, clinical development and quality advice; and
- strategic coaching on a clearly defined business, IP or regulatory question.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to HealthTech startups and scale-ups that:
- are established in The Hague region or demonstrably connected to The Hague through a customer, user, pilot, collaboration partner or concrete implementation opportunity;
- develop a Digital Health, MedTech (up to Class IIb) or social-domain innovation; this includes technological or digitally enabled solutions that contribute to healthcare, wellbeing, prevention, social support or independent living. The following are excluded: biotech; pharma, pharmaceutical and drug development companies; consultancy services without a proprietary technological solution; consumer wellness solutions without demonstrable healthcare, wellbeing or social impact.
- have the potential to create societal and economic value for The Hague’s healthcare ecosystem; and
- are available to actively participate in the advisory trajectory during November 2026.
