In the recent June 16th cut-off, the European Commission’s EIC Accelerator program has granted €363m in subsidy to 65 innovative European start-ups and scale-ups. And 92% of them are also on the list to receive equity financing through the program. On average, the chance of receiving funding in this EIC accelerator round was 5%.
We are proud to announce that two of the companies selected received funding as a result of a partnership with FFUND: Microsure BV and HumanITcare, developed by FollowHealth SL.
Microsure BV has developed MUSA: the world’s first clinically available, CE-certified microsurgery robot. MUSA enables surgery on blood vessels smaller than 0.3 mm in diameter. HumanITcare, a digital health company, has developed an Artificial Intelligence platform that analyzes data from different sources in order to improve access to remote healthcare.
With the support of the EIC financing, both companies will be able to bridge the important final product development steps towards launching their products on the market in the coming years.
