About the job

As Sales Manager you are responsible for leading and managing our sales pipeline to create sales qualifying leads and advance them into signing customers for the various consulting services. Your sales activities will be executed by online video calls, attending (inter)national meetings and conferences and visiting customers.

You will work independently to bring new customers to FFUND, while being closely connected to the consulting- and marketing teams to align targets, activities, and to ensure an optimal customer experience for new clients that enter the company.

As the various funding products are highly specialized, you will also team-up with expert consultants during the sales process to build customer relations and identify the optimal product fit end.

Your responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and how they relate to our services;
  • Perform national and international sales activities to meet planned sales goals;
  • Align sales progress and opportunities with the team;
  • Ensure smooth customer landing in the company;
  • Handling and resolving potential customer complaints;
  • Accurately update and maintain the CRM for deal pipeline, accounts, and activity;
  • Manage and report your sales budget, results, and projections to the FFUND MT.

Our growing company is seeking for a sales manager who is dedicated to expand the impact of FFUND in Europe by accelerating the sales funnel of the company. As sales manger you will operate between the marketing and consulting teams to create and advance SQLs toward signed customers, and are responsible for identifying new leads, set-up and perform sales meetings, and close lucrative contracts for our non-dilutive-, equity- and business support services.

We are looking for a result driven sales manager with an eye for detail and relations to help advance the Life Sciences sector. As Sales Manager you have an important role to communicate and demonstrate our company values to potential new customers, while closing lucrative deals for FFUND.

To be successful you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business and/or Life Sciences;
  • More than 3 years recent commercial experience and proven track record in sales, preferably in the consulting sector;
  • Experience in the Health & Life Science field;
  • Passion, people skills and the ability to inspire others;
  • The skills and willingness to perform ‘cold’ calls;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages (like Dutch and/or German) is considered a plus;
  • A living address in the Netherlands (within reasonable distance from our office) and willingness to travel (inter)nationally up to 50% of the time;
  • Good record-keeping skills and an eye for details in contracts;
  • The ability to spot new business opportunities;
  • A curious mind and the power of a born networker;
  • A hands-on mentality and you are a great self starter.
